May is happy with results

PLDC - In the 7th week of the Professional League, Saipa Tehran defeated Sanat Naft of Abadan with the score of 1-0. The winning goal of this match was scored by Soltani in the 74th minute. Saipa now occupies 4th pace in 
the League table with 11 points. So far they have won three games, drawn 2 and lost two. 

After the match Giovanni May, Italian head coach of Saipa, commented, “It was a tough match. Sanat Naft was very determined and played to win. I am sure they will get better results in the future. We needed this victory to continue our trend of success.”

“The bad conditions of the pitch reduced the quality of the game. We are training to shoot our balls better (on free kicks) and that is why Soltani managed to score one of the three free kicks awarded to us. We 
had another opportunity to score which the Sanat Naft goal keeper prevented.”

“I am satisfied with my team and I hope we can continue this trend of victories. Our next game is against the top of the table team, Sepahan. It will be a tough match but we usually play better when we are on the away leg. I refrain from predicting the results of this match.”
