PLDC - Iran international striker Mehdi Taremi has officially joined UAE Pro League side Al Wasl, bringing his career in European football to an end.
Taremi, who played for Greek club Olympiacos last season, has signed a contract with the Dubai-based club following the World Cup.
According to Arabic sports outlet YSScores, the transfer is reportedly worth $400,000.
The Iranian striker has previously represented several prominent clubs, including Inter Milan in Italy, Porto and Rio Ave in Portugal, Al-Gharafa in Qatar, and Persepolis in Iran.
Taremi will now wear Al Wasl’s yellow shirt next season as he begins a new chapter of his career in the UAE.
