Mazloomi on the New IFF head

PLDC - The new head of the Iranian Football Federation is supposed to be selected soon and the candidates have introduced themselves to the IFF. In an interview with the press, Gholam Hossien Mazloomi, Manager of the 
youth teams of Esteghlal and one of the best goal scorers in the history of Iranian football, spoke about the characteristics which the new IFF head must possess, “The new head must be popular among the lovers of 
football. He must be knowledgeable and an expert in this area. He must have strong relations with the people and government officials.”

“To solve the problems of football we must look at things more deeply and take action. The IFF work load is heavy and it needs financial and intellectual support, creativity and sincerity. The Federation must from now on be put into the hands of capable, responsible forces so that they can push it forward with their honesty and fairness.”

“The characteristics of the new head must be expertise, management experience and strong international relations. This person must attract the qualified and professional work force needed for the sport and conclude 
all the unfinished cooperative activities of the present. The fundamentals of the Federation must be looked into and the special services to the football society must be upgraded.”

“By choosing a new suitable head for the IFF, we will completely reform the Federation. The budget that was spent for football last year was a record and I hope the Federation has the ability to provide it again in the new year.”
