Parvin looking for a way out

PLDC - Ali Parvin, head coach of Persepolis of Tehran recently expressed various views about his club and work and life. He commented Iran was about 60 years behind Asia in football, which was a distinct weakness. With
the existing conditions and facilities not much can be done in this regard though. The pitches in Iran are full of holes he said.

He went on to add that everyone had become tired of either Persepolis or Esteghlal becoming the champions every year and there was no variety left. The press in Iran was opposite to the rest of the world, instead of encouraging the clubs they usually downgraded Esteghlal and Persepolis to make the other teams look better and give them confidence. Other teams had to work hard to improve and become the champions.

Parvin is now tired and looking for an opportunity to leave football. It is very hard work for him to go on coaching. This pressure is the result of players and team staff trying to take the control away from the head coach and having to watch and train them constantly plus the stress from the Asian Cup and the league and so on.”
