Koch, “We are aiming for Asian championship”

PLDC - After the 1-0 victory of Esteghlal against Naftchi of Uzbekistan in the away leg of the Asian Clubs Super Cup the head coach of Esteghlal, Ronald Koch, commented, “We are aiming for the Asian championship title.
The most important point is that no goal was scored against us in this match. If we had received a goal in Tehran, our work in Uzbekistan would have been much tougher.”

“We will play against Naftchi in the next leg much more confidently and by performing well we can qualify for the next round. Esteghlal is slowly performing better and we are going to appear much stronger in the league matches from now on.”
