Talebi, “I hope we can win next match”

PLDC - According to Ebrahim Talebi, Esteghlal Tehran assistant coach, the club players performed as expected in the match against Naftchi of Uzbekistan which ended with the 1-0 victory of Esteghlal. He went on to say, “We could have gotten a better result but we lost a number of 100 percent goal opportunities. We were lucky that they did not score against us on our own home turf, as it would have made things difficult in the away match.”

“We were up against a tough team and we played to win. We were satisfied with our team’s performance and I hope that we can win in the away leg as well.”
