Sepahan tops the league&nbsp; <img border="0" src="http://www.persianleague.com/images/pic.gif" width="13" height="11">

PLDC - In the fourth week of the Iranian Professional League, on Friday, 8th November Sepahan Esfahan faced Malavan Anzali and defeated them at home with the result of 2-0. This now places Sepahan at the top spot in the Iranian Professional League table with 10 points. Fajr Sepassi (last week top team) is second with the same number of points and only behind due to goal difference.

Both the goals for Sepahan in this match were scored by Mahmood Karimi in the 44th and 85th minutes of the game. 7,000 fans were present to watch the match. Malavan also came close to scoring a goal in the 44th 
minute of the game but was prevented from doing so by the hosts.
