Zarincheh, “We must win from Abu Moslem”

PLDC - It appears that Javad Zarincheh will take up his usual post in Esteghlal Tehran as team captain and defender for the 4th week match against Abu Moslem on Friday, 08/11/2002. After the recent two losses by Esteghlal, the club is walking on a knife edge despite the promises of the head coach, Koch, of future victories.

In an interview with the press Zarincheh spoke to the press, “After the two losses in the last two weeks, we have to win against Abu Moslem so that Esteghlal can get some peace and escape the present crisis. If we get the three points we will get our confidence back.”

“The boys are in good shape and they are training. We know what to do against Abu Moslem. They are one of the tougher League teams but all the teams are now tough. If Esteghlal makes one small mistake against them on Friday and if we do not keep up the pressure we may lose. We are very optimistic.”
