Shahrokhi, “We were better in the second half”

PLDC - After the 2-0 defeat of Malavan Anzali by Pas of Tehran, the club now stands 6th in the league table with Malavan standing at the foot of the table with both games lost. After the Pas – Malavan match, the head coach of Pas, Homayoon Shahrokhi commented, “At the beginning of the match both teams seemed inactive and dispirited. We of course had Opportunities which we did not use well.”
“In the second half and especially at the end of the half, both teams performed better and Pas played a smoother game. As we had said before, Malavan was a tough opponent for us and as you saw scoring against them was not an easy matter. They stood up to us until the end of the second half.”
