Samereh, “Koch did his thing”

PLDC -Ali Samereh, Esteghlal striker, scored one of the goals for his team in the first week of the Iranian Professional League against Pas (score: Esteghal 3 – Pas 1). His goal was so professional that it was compared to the goals scored by the Italian professionals. Although on the bench of Estehglal, he had the chance to share a part of his team’s victory.

He spoke about his goal and the game after the match, “It was a tough, breathtaking match. Pas is a fine team with good players. That is why we were defeated in the first half. What Koch told us in the break, had a good effect on us and we became a new team. We then scored three goals in the second half.”

“The victory in the first week is very helpful and raises any team’s spirits. I am sure we will do fine and get better results in the future weeks. The goal I scored was the result of pure action. When the ball reached me, I just kicked it without delay and fortunately, I scored a good goal.”
