Footsal Team leaves for Indonesia

PLDC - The Iranian National Footsal Team will leave Iran today at 10:30 a.m. for Jakarta, Indonesia with the intention of taking part in the Asian Footsal Indoor tournament. This event will kick off with 15 teams (in three groups) taking part.

Group One: South Korea, Thailand, Bahrain, Brunei and Iraq

Group Two: Iran, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Malaysia and Turkmenistan

Group Three: Indonesia, KyrgyzStan, China, Kuwait and Japan

The two best teams in each group plus the best two third teams will qualify into the quarter final stage of the tournament. The schedule of the games of the Iranian National Team is as follows:

Tuesday, 22/10/2002: Iran – Uzbekistan

Wednesday, 23/10/2002: Iran – Turkmenistan

Thursday, 24/10/2002: Iran – Malaysia

Friday, 25/10/2002: Iran – Taiwan
