Fatemi Sole Goal Gives Esteqlal Second Place

TEHRAN Esteqhlal of Tehran took three points and second place of the table as Faraz Fatemi scored the sole goal of the match in the 34th minute.

During a 10th-week match of Iran Premier Clubs Championships held Sunday in Bahman 22 Stadium, Isfahan, the blue-clad team of Esteqhlal defeated Foulad-e Sepahan to increase its points to 18, following the archrival Pirouzi with 19 points.

Foulad-e Khuzestan also won its clash against Municipality of Rasht 2-1 and stood fourth in the table.

The match was held in Takhti Stadium, Ahvaz, Sunday.
