Hamam asks Farahani to join FIFA committee

PLDC - Mohammad Ben Hamam, Head of the Asian Football Confederation, reacted to the recent resignation of Mohammad Safaei Farahani as head of the Iranian Football Federation in a letter to the man. The text of the letter reads as below:

Dear Mr. Farahani,

Your decision to resign as the head of the Iranian Football Federation is a great pain to me and Asian football and I am very sorry about this. As a friend and brother, I wish from the bottom of my heart that you would change your mind and return to your post, which would be best for the progress of football in Iran.

The future leadership in football needs your understanding and viewpoints. I am also asking you to allow me to consider you as a candidate for one of the committees in FIFA so as to use your knowledge here. Kindly announce your agreement to FIFA as soon as possible.
