Shooters first defeated Iranian group in Busan

PLDC - The first Iranian group to become disqualified in the preliminary stage of 14th Asian games in Busan was the Iranian shooting team. In the preliminary stage of the men’s air gun tournament (10 meters), Ehsan Homayouni (587 points), Hossien Jahangiri (579 points) and Reza Ahmadi (569 points) stood 16th, 31st and 44th respectively. In this group the Chinese stood first and second and Japan was third.

In the preliminary stage of the women’s air gun tournament (10 meters) Iran stood tenth with an overall score of 1130. In the individual games, Lida Farman (387 points), Elham Hashemi (378 points) and Yalda Khodabandeh (265 points) stood in 22nd, 32nd and 41st places respectively. 
China again got the gold and silver in the women’s air gun contest with Japan receiving the bronze.
