Persepolis held 1-1 by Pas in Iran

AFC - Persepolis were held to a 1-1 draw by Pas while Esteghlal cut Saipa’s lead atop the standings to one point in the 22nd round of Iran Pro League here recently.

Saipa were held 1-1 by Abu Moslem while Esteghlal sidelined Rah Ahan 2-1. Saipa are on 46 points while Esteghlal are a point adrift.

Moghdasipour gave Abu Moslem the lead two minutes before interval but Ashtiani ensured a point for Saipa with a 47th minute strike. Ghorbani (36) and Ansarian (76) were on target for Esteghlal.

Khoraj gave Pas the lead in the 22nd minute but Rezaei restored the parity for Persepolis in the 85th minute.

In other matches, Malavan beat Mes 2-1, Bargh defeated Peykan 2-1 and Fajr Sepasi overcame Saba Battery 1-0. The match between Foolad and Zob Ahan ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
