Last-gasp Iran beats UAE in football friendly

MNA – Iran hit once in the last minute of each half to beat home side the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 2-0 in a football friendly in Abu Dhabi Friday.

Striker Rassul Khatibi converted a spot-kick on 45 minutes and defender Amir-Hossein Sadeqi doubled the scoring in the 90th minute.

Iran’s forward Gholamreza Enayati missed a penalty kick before the interval.
