German television to broadcast live Iran-Hamburger SV match from Dubai

IRNA - The opening match of the Dubai Football Challenge Cup between Iran's national team and Bundesliga club Hamburger SV will be broadcast live on the German sports television network DSF on Monday.

Hamburg and Iran are joined in the Dubai football tournament by the national team of the United Arab Emirates and German first division squad VfB Stuttgart.

Meanwhile Iran will also play Stuttgart on January 10 while the UAE will take on Hamburger SV which are currently holding a 10-day winter training camp in the tiny Persian Gulf sheikdom.

Ranked 17th in the 18-team Bundesliga, Hamburg is facing imminent relegation into the second division for the first time in their 44-year-old Bundesliga history.
