FIFA still examining Iran's football issue

ISNA - FIFA is currently examining Iran football issue and more information will be communicated in due course via media release, announced FIFA media department director, Markus Siegler regarding Iran's football suspension issue.

Also FIFA spokesman, Andreas Herren concerning this issue commented that this international football governing body was currently reviewing and studying the information and up to this point no announcement schedule had been set.

This is while Iranian media one week before had announced the 22nd of November 2006, as FIFA deadline for announcing its final decision on suspending Iran's football.
