Clubcall - Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg is reportedly keen on making a move for out-of-favour Bayern Munich playmaker Ali Karimi. Salzburg coach Lothar Matthaus is hoping to add some creativity to his squad and is thought to have already held talks with Bayern boss Felix Magath about the Iran international.
Talks are still in progress but reports in
Germany suggest that Bayern may well be asking too much for the player. However, the 2004 Asian Player of the Year picked up a spate of injuries towards the end of last season and now appears to be surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena. |
