Mob’ali inspires Fulad to midseason title

MNA – National midfielder Iman Mob’ali converted a penalty kick to help Fulad of Khuzestan celebrate the midseason title of the fourth Iran Pro League in the southern capital city Shiraz Tuesday.
Mob’ali, who had missed scoring chances from the spot, kept his nerve to grab the winner in the 54th minute to give the visitor a precious victory over the struggling Fajr-e Sepassi in Hafezieh Stadium.

The narrow victory in the postponed 13th-week match helped Fulad leapfrog Zob Ahan, standing top on 31 points out of 15 games.

Zob Ahan has 29 points and third-placed Persepolis has garnered 28 points.
