Iranian national team footballers banned after scuffle

IRNA - Iranian National Football Federation`s technical committee here Saturday slapped a ban until further notice on two members of the national team Rahman Rezai, and Ali Badavi for creating a baffling and regrettable picture by getting into scuffles in the game against Oman in the 13th Asian Cup Group D Match. 
The Head of National Football Federation Mohammad Daadkan chaired the committee meeting. 
Meanwhile, Iran`s national team member Mohammad Nosrati grabbed the equalizer with a header in the stoppage time to hold the budding Oman to a 2-2 draw. 
Iran has now garnerd four points in Group D and ranks second to Japan which beat Thailand 4-1 in the second game on Saturday. 
Iran thrashed Thailand 3-0 Tuesday while the Persian Gulf sultanate`s side lost to Nippon 1-0.
