VfB Stuttgart to host Esteghal Tehran for Bam quake charity gam

IRNA - German first division team VfB Stuttgart will play a charity game with Iran`s football powerhouse Esteghlal-e Tehran in the southwest German city of Reutlingen on January 24 and all the proceeds of the match will be donated to the Bam quake victims, DPA reported. 
The match is an initiative of the Stuttgart-based DaimlerChrysler concern, said Matthias Kleinert who is in charge of DaimlerChrysler`s Iran Aid programme. 
In other related news, a share of the proceeds of the upcoming International Junior Cup, to be played on January 3 and 4 near Stuttgart, will also be donated for the Bam quake relief programme.
