AFC releases statement on Esteqlal

Kuala Lumpur, March 19 - Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in a statement released Monday said it would take a closer look at the first division Esteqlal club, which has been planned to host the 21st round of Asian club champion final events starting 3rd April.
The statement further pointed to the strong performances of the side's top players and praised their capabilities.
According to the statement, AFC believes the legendary striker Faraz Fatemi who has been awarded the best Asian player for March shines again to crown his men to lift the trophy at the Asian championship final.
The blue-dressed men stand on the top spot of the current premier league table followed by second-placed arch rival Pirouzi, despite recieving a tough blow from the middle-placed Pass squad early this weak.
