March 10, IRNA - Manager of Iran's National Football Teams Committee said here Saturday that there is no age limitation in the West Asian Games but the federation has decided to send the under-23 squad of Iran to Pusan, South Korea. To get more ready for the West Asian soccer tournament, the under-23 team will be dispatched to Kuwait on April 2 and is to hold a short-time camp before departure, added Mohammad Ranjbar in his talks with IRNA. Iran's Croat Head Coach, Branko Ivankovic, is to steer the under-23 soccer side, said the official adding that the Croat has not selected his assistants yet, said the official adding that Ivankovic would likely pick up Hossein Faraki as his first assistant. The soccer matches of West Asian Games are to be held between April 4-12. Six teams are to clash in Pusan. Iran has been grouped with Syria and Palestine. |
