Gilan's Pegah finds its way to Iran Pro League

IRNA - First-division soccer team Pegah of northern province of Gilan promoted to Iran Pro League (IPL) on Sunday by collecting 53 points. 
Pegah is the second team that has advanced to the IPL. In the 30th (last) week of the first-division league, Pegah managed to defeat Rah Ahan 3-1 here on May 4. 
Shahin Bani-E'temad put Pegah ahead in the injury time of the first half and the top goalscorer Amir-Hossein Salami-Bakhsh netted in the 62nd and 72nd minutes. 
Alireza Mir-Shafieian scored the consolation goal of Rah Ahan in the 88th minute. 
Referee Ali Khosravi judged the match in front of some 8,000 fans in Ekbatan Stadium. 
Amir-Hossein Alimardani of Rah Ahan and Pegah goalkeeper Hamed Tabatabaei were red-carded in the 31st and 88th minutes respectively. 
Shamoushak of Noshahr has already promoted to Iran Pro League. It beat Pegah 1-0 in the 28th week.
