Sheikh Lari steps down as Tractor trainer

IRNA - Managing Director of Tabriz Tractor Sazi Cultural-Sports Club said Ahad Sheikh Lari, the head coach, offered his resignation after a loss to the capital-based Oqab.
Khosro Abdollahzadeh who talked to IRNA on Saturday added the manager bid farewell to all players in the locker-room on Friday.
According to him, the support of club's officials for the coaches brought about bad results.
Tractor Sazi had poor performance in recent weeks while the officials fulfilled all their obligations, paying the players and coaches their wages and rewards.
Speaking about the rage of fans following Tractor's 4-0 humiliating loss to Oqab, the managing director said the spectators are the true owners of the team and reserve the right to complain.
He added the new coach of Tractor Sazi will be appointed on Saturday.
