Persepolis loses to Moghavemat

MNA - Tehran-based Persepolis football team lost to Moghavemat of Shiraz 1-0 in the 13th week of the Iran Professional League (IPL) in Shiraz, southern Iran, on Thursday.

In front of about 30,000 fans at the Hafezieh Stadium, Moghavemat took advantage of captain Karim Bagheri’s own goal in the 71st minute.

It was Persepolis’ fourth defeat in the current season. The popular team has already lost to Mes, Abumoslem and Fulad respectively.

Persepolis remains 4th in IPL standing with 21 points.
